Manouka – Day & Night Gastro Bar, the hidden terrace of Ermou that we have loved for the last two years, is reintroduced to us in a renewed environment signed by Studiomateriality and with a new concept in the kitchen by the Headchef, Marina Demollai.
With an emphasis on comfort food and cocktails, the culinary haunt of the historic center welcomes Athenians and visitors to the capital with the most privileged view of the Acropolis and Lycabettus. Young atmosphere, quality tastes, excellent suggestions from the bar and nice music in the background is the combination that makes those who go up to the 7th floor of Ermou 46, come back.
Under the musical selections of favorite dj’s, every Friday and Saturday, Manouka – Day & Night Gastro Bar puts on its funkiest mood and invites its patrons to leave themselves to the pulse of the music.
Marina Demollai, headchef of Manouka – Day & Night Gastro Bar proposes a menu based on Greek products with teasing touches. As she notes:
« The new, renewed Manouka – Day & Night Gastro Bar, is a proposal addressed to every visitor who wants to enjoy a good brunch or even an evening dinner with a different approach from the usual and of course with a view of the Acropolis, focusing both in the quality of the products as well as in the technical details of the dishes.One would say, seeing the path it has taken so far, that Manouka now acquires a Greek character and a modern mood. My aim through my dishes is for each visitor to be able to bring back memories and tastes from their mother’s/grandmother’s kitchen with each bite or to get to know the tastes of our country in the case of visitors from foreign countries.
