Athens hosted the Athens International Music Festival, opening with one of the most acclaimed violinists of our time, Pinchas Zukerman. For five days, the historic Parnassos Literary Society became a hub of international musical creativity, bringing together leading musicians from around the world and presenting landmark works of chamber music.
The Festival featured distinguished artists including soprano Christina Poulitsi, violinists Tosca Opdam and Asi Matathias, violist Wenting Kang, cellists Amanda Forsyth and Gabriel Schwabe, clarinetist Julien Hervé, and pianists Victor Stanislavsky and Maria Meerovitch. Alongside the concerts, masterclasses and educational programs for young musicians highlighted the Festival’s commitment to artistic excellence, cultural exchange, and the power of music as a bridge between generations and cultures.
