Christina Mavridis - cofounder

Christina Mavridis is the founder of “L’Agence 12l22". She has worked in Fashion and Communication in Paris since 2003 and studied at Mod'Art International, graduating in "Modern Greek".

She also owns the cocktail bar "Meerkat Cocktail Safari" and the spa "Calmora Wellness Spa" which she has also founded and managed, in addition to four other companies and associations, such as "Fantastic Communication" and "Communication et Cie" in Paris with main activities taking place during Paris Fashion Week.

She has produced and consulted at: Hellenic Fashion Week, Cyprus Fashion Week, Georgian Fashion Week, Skopje Fashion Week (in collaboration with the French Embassy) and Tokyo Fashion Week.

During her long experience, she has assumed responsibilities such as communication, production, media plan strategy, press and public relations, website design and development, e-shop and blog, business creation, management, administration (both financial and legal), commercial strategy, marketing, recruitment in the fields of "Luxury, Fashion, Culture and Art of Living".

She has represented international brands, young designers and personalities from around the world including: Tony Yaacoub, Stéphanie Coudert, Vaillant Mayen Coperni Femme, Sakina M'sa, Christophe Josse, Basil Soda, Khaled El Masri, Elena Syraka, Hanna Touma, Judith Leiber, Alphadi, Deux Hommes, Cengiz Abazoglu, Eymeric Francois, Irakli Nassidze, Dimitris Zafiriou, Lolita Lempicka, Leonard, Carven, Yumi Katsura, Erin Fetherston, etc.

Melpomeni Maragkidou - cofounder

Melpomeni Maragidou is the co-founder of L'AGENCE 12 l 22 and has been working as a professional journalist since 2009. She studied at the Department of Media Communication and Culture at Panteion University and at the "Communication" Department of the Nouvelle Sorbonne, Paris III, while 'she graduated from the French Hellenic School "Saint Paul".

She has worked as a columnist, producer and presenter at VICE since 2014. She was editor-in-chief of the documentary series "Sin Yinexi" on ERT2 for two seasons as well as the series "Faces and Stories" on Ertflix. She has now taken over as editor-in-chief of the new series ”Dance time” on ERT2. The film "Walking in one heel", of which she was the editor-in-chief, was presented in preview at the Thessaloniki Documentary Festival, before appearing in other international and national festivals.

As a freelancer, she collaborated with “Stegi" of the Onassis Foundation, the "K" Magazine of Kathimerini, the Woman Magazine, ANT1, MEGA and the REAL group.

In 2021, she was a member of the jury of the Athens Fashion Film Festival, and for 2022 she took on the project management of the event itself.

She worked for the company "Communication et Cie" in Paris as a communication assistant and project manager, and has been working as a freelance in the field of communication and digital marketing since 2015.

“L’AGENCE 12 l 22″ was born in January 2022, ten years after the first collaboration between Christina Mavridis and Melpomeni Maragkidou in Paris.

It was in 2012 that Christina, already with 10 years of experience, conquered Paris with her own communications office in the fields of luxury, fashion, culture and the Art de Vicre, while being both founder and director of the greek communities, GreekParis.com.

Meli, as Christina « baptized » Melpomeni because she could not pronounce her name, flew from the field of Greek journalism to the field of Parisian communication, and became her right hand man, beginning their joint journey in the City of Light.

Fashion show production, designer communication, public relations, Paris Fashion Week, Greece and France connection, events and parties were all part of what they did. They then parted professionally, but they did not stop being in each other’s lives.

In 2022, they decided to reunite by setting up « L’AGENCE 12 l 22 » between Paris, Athens and Mykonos.

The numbers originate from the initials of their names M and X in the Greek alphabet, while at the same time 12 symbolizes the date of their first acquaintance and 22 that of their new beginning.
